What exactly can you spend a stafford loan on?

What exactly can you NOT spend a stafford loan on? I am an independent student working towards an AA, have 37/60 credits so I guess I am a sophomore, and I will be needing a stafford loan to cover the remainder of my college expenses....what qualifies?

Tuition, books, room and board. Actually, you can spend the remainder on whatever you want. It's a loan, so the school will issue you a refund check after all their expenses are covered.
