Pilots and their student loans?

วันจันทร์ที่ 18 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2552
How do aspiring pilots pay for their college expenses? I know it takes tens of thousands of dollars if people decide to get a bachelors degree to become a pilot. Do most of them get student loans or do they just come from a rich family that could afford everything. If they do get a loan how much do they usually owe by the time they graduate?

There is no Bachelor's degree to become a pilot. There are degrees in avionics, aerospace, aviation, physics and related fields, but becoming a pilot is something you learn either in the military or by undertaking a special course through a flight school.

It does not costs "tens of thousands of dollars." The cost depends on what kind of pilot's license is sought.

You do not need a college education to go to flight school.

You do need a college education to become a jet pilot in the military.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but it is not accurate.

For accurate details about the specific of flight school (programs, costs, etc), look in the phone book Yellow Pages and makes some calls.
